At a time when there was little interest in casino-zone land in Atlantic City, SDC put together a group of private investors to acquire land and complete a 20-acre land assemblage in the North Beach area of Atlantic City. This became one of the largest tracts of casino land ever assembled in Atlantic City. The site was sold to Morgan Stanley in May 2006 in an all cash transaction. Morgan Stanley in conjunction with Revel Entertainment has started construction on a new $3B casino named Revel. This 7.8 million square foot beach front entertainment destination will feature 2 hotel towers and are the tallest buildings in New Jersey.
