Competing against some of the largest developers and hotel operating companies in the country, SDC was awarded this $87 million, high profile project. SDC was successful in structuring a joint venture team that included Doubletree, SDC and Caesars to develop the hotel. In addition to being the developer, SDC serves as managing general partner and is a co-owner of the property. Located directly across the street from the Atlantic City Convention Center and connected to it by a pedestrian bridge, the fifteen-story hotel offers 502 guest rooms and suites, a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, meeting rooms, a three-meal restaurant and Tun Tavern - Atlantic City's first brewpub. SDC was selected as the developer after a $1 million, 12 month international search was conducted by the City of Atlantic City.
