RIVERWATCH is a community of 170 market-rate residential units in New Brunswick, NJ. SDC, in partnership with a wholly owned subsidiary of Philadelphia Electric Company, was chosen from a list of nine candidates to be the developer of this Gateway project. The Project’s design features include brick sidewalks, period street lamps, and a landscaped center plaza featuring a large fountain as its focal point. RIVERWATCH was the first upscale downtown housing project in the City of New Brunswick in decades. It helped establish both a new identity and an affluent residential population for the City. The Project received honorable mention in Excellence in Downtown Development Awards for the State of New Jersey.
